Introduction of the film-making process, worldviews of variety of cultures, why we make films, discovering the value of your story, how to refine the message or your story, how to make a film and edit your story.
 
Three days of workshop on storytelling, directing and editing
(Pre-production, Production, Post-production)
 
You will be able to create a film in three days. First day is the day of crafting your idea, a preparation for filming. The second day is the shooting day. The third day is editing and post-production of the story.
 
1. Pre-production includes screenwriting, story-boarding, casting actors, finding locations,
creating a shot list, designing the style of the film and choosing the genre of the film.
2. Production stage include - practical film-making, working with a camera and actors, blocking, working with lights, artist and creating special effects.
3. Post-production include learning the storytelling through editing, crafting the music and sound design elements of the film, adding visual effects, color grading and finishing of the film.
4. Marketing of the film - We will look into how to promote the film using social media. We will also look at the feature film and short film distribution platforms and choosing the right strategy of applying for the film festivals.
 
One day workshop on directing and screenwriting
 
This workshop is more hands on creative writing and directing workshop, sketching an idea, story-boarding and exploring the depth and the story background of the idea and characters. It includes improvisation of characters, looking at the 3-act structure of storytelling and creating the message, story development and the resolution of the story.
 
2 x 60 min masterclass on Biblical storytelling
 
This workshop is solely looking at storytelling of Biblical proportions, exploring variety of worldviews, looking at film examples. We will explore how your story can impact and change the world reaching out to millions of people with a powerful message. We are looking at the message of Jesus Christ and digging into His storytelling methods that he used to reach out to people. We will explore how he used parables and asked bold questions that left an impact on peoples lives.
